where can i find decent second hand furniture for sale (not too exspensive) from Merseyside?

I am in need of a 2 seater sofa and 1 chair. a coffee table. and a dining room table and 4chairs.

1. My Mum and Dad live in Merseyside (on the Wirral) and they swear by auctions! They have got some brilliant bargains from their local one (i.e. Dyson vacuums for £10). So I'd look in the Echo and see if there are any near where you are! Happy hunting.
2. try ebay or your local paper for car boot sales
3. Local Paper or House Clearance Stores. Argos sell some ready built furniture and flat pack furniture at reasonable prices - then if something goes wrong you have got a place to go to.
4. if there is a free cycle.org in your area, ask on site and someone just might have everything you need 4 free.. if you don't know how 2 join, get back with us and someone will help you..
5. i come from merseyside and i have furnished my whole house with second hand (cheap) furniture which does look good...if you know the dock road, there are some warehouses that run along that road....each wednesday theres a place open that specialises in second hand furniture, or go to waterloo..saint johns road, that whole road is full of second hand furniture shops....trust me...i am a regular and the cost is not that much
6. I live in Wirral and there are 2 local free papers, The Wirral News and the Wirral Globe, they have columns of articles for sale. I've had some good items from them. They are published weekly.
