what is the best place to buy cheap, second hand furniture in Adelaide?

I'm looking for cheap, second hand furniture that doesn't have to be in great condition.... maybe auction houses or a great second hand shop. Can any one recommend somewhere? Thanks!

1. Try looking in the classifieds section of the paper in for sale section, also on ebay. In the advanced search options you can put in Adelaides post code and find furniture within a certain distance of your house. You can see the photos and how many people are bidding on it. Usually with furniture on ebay, its pick up only, which means that only locals bid on it, so you have less competition making it cheaper.
2. Try the Adelaide freecycle group. We've gained (and given away) several great pieces of furniture and other items through our local freecycle group; once you've joined you can place 'Wanted' ads or respond to 'Offered' ads. Everything is free - you don't have to pay a penny: it exists to stop items from going into landfill.
