I need to sell all my furniture, where's the best place to do this online?
I'm looking for a company that will auction my items for me on ebay, or something similar. I also need them to be able to collect the furniture from me.

- e bay
- Im not an expert, but if you dont have a lot of furniture, getting a company to sell it for you and getting them to collect and deliver will take a lot away from your sale price
- YOU WILL ONLY BE OFFERED PENNIES FOR IT.
- List it on craigslist.
- Try craigslist in your area. Search for your home town + craigslist. You can sell is on there like E-bay, but its a home town thing so they can come and pick up the items. It works pretty good. Its like a online classified add in the paper.
- I would put it up on ebay yourself--the ebay places take a big percentage. If you don't have a digital camera, borrow one from a friend. Even the camera on the cell phone works. Do "local pickup only". Go through ebay and look up similar listings to your furniture to get an idea of how to write the description and how much furniture is going for. Do the 6 picture package and carefully photograph any deficiencies. Remember, no matter how much you paid for it, used furniture is used furniture. Decide the minimum amount you are willing to take for it--list it at that price. Put a pick-up date in your listing. Don't do a reserve--it turns people away. Check your listing frequently and respond imediately to any questions. I think you will be surprised at how much $$ you will get.
- I am not exactly sure where you are but I know of a few local comapnies here in NC that do the online auction for a fee. However, one of your best bets on selling your furniture is a used furniture consignment store. There are many so all you have to do is look around for them. I know that there are a few here in my area that will come and get your old furniture for you. You have to understnad that you are not going to get "alot" of money for your furniture but if you are just looking to get rid of it and not make a huge profit that is the best way to go. Many times the placed will give you more for your furniture in "in-store" credit so you can replace your furniture with what they have in the store if you want. I have dojne this once or twice and it works really well! I paid just over $200 for 3 rooms of furniture when I traded my old stuff in! I hope that was helpfull!
- If you have a garage you could have a garage sale and advertise it in your local Newspaper. You could also place an advert for your furniture in your local Newspaper too - buyer collects. Good luck.
- local papers, classified papers or take pictures and hang them up in local stores
- Craigslist.org...it is all totaaly free..and you do not have to pay anyone interest for selling it..all clear profit..sign up for a free account there..go to your local listings and post them..tell them they must pick up..simple
