Used Furnitures

does any one know any sites for free furniture to a good home in west midlands?

i know about freecycle but thats not very good at the min as im just moving in to a new home and seeking everythink for a house so just wondered if any one new any free furniture sites or cheap auction sites to bid eg like ebay in based in birmingham if any one could help regarding this then thank you

  1. Don't know about west midlands but in manchester area we got rid of stuff to RSPCA . Not their usual high street charity shop but a warehouse in Bolton.(just north of Manchester) They collected at agreed time and only requirement was that soft furnishes had to have current anti flammable labels on. On our a three piece they were under the seat cushions. We got contact details through the local RSPCA charity shop. I suspect they don't sell them for a lot. Hope this helps
  2. We have a place called Emaus which is a charitable organisation who repair and recycle furniture cheaply you may have one in your area.
  3. British Heart Foundation / Oxfam have furniture shops. Check via their main site. Also just google "secondhand furniture charity birmingham". A few come up.
  4. you could try your local council offices, first then your local so cal services, if thy can not help go to your local recycling centre you can buy there for a few quid or less
