Any tips for selling a barely used {sectional} couch?
I bought a light cream-colored contemporary sectional about two years ago, and since it was custom ordered I paid about $2300 for it which included stain guard (warranted for up to ten years). Problem is no one in my family will sit on it when they come to visit because the light color makes them nervous of staining it. So now it really is just a huge space-taker that's not good for anything because no one will sit on it. It is in excellent (looks brand new) condition, has only been in our smoke-free/kid-free/pet-free house, and still has the original manufacturer tags attached to the back. So what is the best way for me to go about selling it? The only used furniture stores around here are antique dealers, so I am looking for a possible online store such as craigslist, but not sure what type of approach to take to make sure I get the most for my money... ***What would be a good price range, I know I need to cut my losses but would like to keep a little green :)

- you are not going to get a lot back out of it,. Best would be to list it on craigslist with a lot of pictures and a low price, custom ordered really does not mean anything to a second buyer
- Write up a nice ad for craig's list Include the manufacturer's name, list it as "rarely used. free of smoke, kids, or pets." I'd start off at $2000.00 INCLUDE A PHOTOGRAPH!
- craigslist is the best way to sell it. Lots of really nice photographs will help it sell. Ask for $1000 or best offer. You will have to settle for less. Maybe alot less. Submit a new post to craigslist everyday. If after a couple of days you do not get responses then lower your asking price. Don't expect to get alot of money, no matter how nice it is it is still a used couch.
- ebay.. about 1,800 make the starting bid at 450 then the bid will go up or if you want u could sell it on craigs list u should definitly get around 1,000 to 1,800 or on a bad occasion u could get 650
