Used Furnitures

Question about loyalty?

My friend was laid off last year and she found a job in january at a spanish furniture dealer - the furniture is VERY expensive like $1200 a chair - the company has different sales reps all over the US to sell their products. One sales rep used to work for an older man but she quit because she said the man kept trying to come on to her. She spoke with the french owners and they told her she could still sell the furntiure as a dealer - she went out got her own business - now she is a dealer. The company has received like 5 orders from this woman, but my friend has been instructed to put them in the old man's name firm. My friend wants to tell this woman sales rep to stop wasting her time because they are NOT going to pay her commission but my friend is afraid that she will lose her job beause her boss, another woman, told her to stay out of it - how can we tell this sales rep that she should do something because its obvious that the chips are stacked against her.

  1. This is an interesting situation your friend has gotten herself here. It seems like that if your friend doesn't start putting her name in the written information, she won't get her dues.
