  11. I believe some of these are fiction rather than fact, but interesting all the same. Examples: Ruth and Elliot Handler would name their new fashion doll after their own daughter, Barbie. Barbie dolls’ soon to be boyfriend Ken, would be named after their son Ken. The Egyptians, Third Century B.C, had scissors long before Leonardo Da Vinci was born.
